As the exchanges shed their canes and walkers, the ever popular "mini" contracts are appearing in every market. The mini's are nothing more than a smaller, electronic version of the traditional futures contract. Their trading hours are normally closer to 20+ hours a day, and one of their biggest benefits is the fact that with market volatility, these smaller contracts provide more flexibility than traditional trading.
